Research Project

Students enrolled for the MLSEP program have the choice of doing either a Research Project (at an academic institution) or an Internship (at a firm). This module is worth five ECTS-credits.

Please note: the difference between the two names: 'Research Project' and 'Internship' is merely to differentiate where (i.e. the location: university or firm, for example) the project is done. The expected learning outcome remains the exactly the same for both names.

Proof of the successful completion of the Research Project (or Internship) and its approval by the program’s Examination Board (Prüfungsausschuss) are a prerequisite for being awarded the Master’s degree certificate.

Students should wait at least until their second semester examination period is over before commencing with this module.
